My name is Jessica Takacs. I am a Technical Designer currently based in Switzerland, with a strong background in
garment construction, fit, and product development. I previously worked for renowned fashion houses including
Michael Kors, Elie Tahari, and Giorgio Armani, where I refined my attention to detail and commitment to quality.
I'm now excited to bring that expertise to the Swiss fashion industry - where craftsmanship, innovation, and
      design excellence are deeply valued.

These garments are from the Michael Kors Pre-Fall 2018 collection, which I contributed to. My work involved
various stages of development, including providing initial measurements for sample creation, conducting fittings
on models and making necessary fit corrections, and grading the garments to different sizes for production.
Ultimately, these pieces went into production and were sold in stores.

As an Apparel Technical Designer with a focus on knitwear, cut & sew and sweaters, I specialize in translating
creative vision into technical sound, production-ready garments. I collaborate closely with design, development,
and sourcing teams to ensure each style aligns with fit, function, and brand identity.

With a strong foundation in garment construction and textile performance, I pay close attention to how materials
behave - balancing aesthetics with wearability. I bring an expert eye to color application across different fabric
types, ensuring consistency and quality from concept through final production.

Driven by both precision and creativity, I thrive in fast paced environments where innovation in yarns, texture,
and sustainable practices is key to success.
